What is your cancellation policy for classes?

 

You may cancel your registration for a class up to 72 hours in advance of the class starting time and receive a full refund or transfer to another class of equal value. To cancel your registration, contact us via email. No refund or exchanges will be given on classes that are cancelled fewer than 72 hours prior to the class start. Japanese cooking "Uguisu" reserves the right to cancel any class that fails to attract sufficient enrolment, or because of chef illness or inclement weather. In the unlikely event of these, we will contact you by email and issue a full refund or you may request to be transferred to another class of your choice (depending on availability).

What if I’m running late for class?
 

Please ensure you arrive at Gakuenntoshi station at 10:00am. We leave Gakuentoshi station as scheduled and it will not be possible to pick you up at the station after we leave. If you are late and miss us, you will have to take a taxi to where the event will be held. Unfortunately, no refund will be issued in this case. We recommend you allow a little extra time when planning your trip to your cooking class.

Do I need any previous cooking experience to enjoy the class? 


No previous experience is required! We will accommodate people of all skill levels. We encourage you to ask questions if there is something you don’t understand. There are no bad questions and we are here to help so that you can be confident enough to try the recipes on your own at home.

What do I need to bring to the class?
 

Nothing. We buy all the groceries and provide you with all the cooking utensils that you'll need.We also have aprons for you to use while cooking. You just bring yourself and your sense of enjoyment!

 

How to make my reservation
 
  1. Send us your name, the number of people wanting to attend, the date and the class you wish to attend. We will respond promptly.

  2. Please complete all required fields in the registration form, and please make your payment with PayPal. Each person is required to register and make a payment.

  3. We will send a confirmation email to you once you have registered.

  4. Please contact us if you do not receive a confirmation email.
